Yesterday 52 teams competed for the MD state championships. Teams 53E and 53C made it all the way to the final round taking 2nd place. Team 53E received the competition's design award. The impressive performance of Teams 53C, 53E and 53F qualifies them to represent Eleanor Roosevelt High School robotics at the world championships to be held in Dallas TX April 25th.

ERHS VEX Robotics Team - Area 53 is made up of six teams, 53A thru 53F. Team 53E won the Hereford Zone Robotics Over Under Stampede tournament's "Design Award" for having an innovative design. This win qualifies team 53E to compete at the Maryland High School Robotics Championship to be held in spring 2024. Rising to the top of a field of 42 robots, Team 53E made it to the final match on December 2. The photo shows the six Eleanor Roosevelt High School students who built their robot.
