📣- Hey Greenback! Here's a look at our specials this week! May 26th - May 30th!

TUESDAY:
Lunch- Chicken Salad (Can be sold as a Bowl, Sandwich, or Plate!)
Dinner- BBQ trio including pork ribs, brisket, pulled pork, baked beans and cornbread.

WEDNESDAY:
Lunch- Mama's Meatloaf or Country Fried Steak with Mashed Taters, Gravy, and Green Beans or Okra
Dinner- Chicken casserole, mashed potatoes, green beans and texas toast.

THURSDAY:
Lunch- Hamburger Steak Plate with Fries and a Side Salad
Dinner- All You Can Eat Fish Bar or 2-Piece Fish Plate with all the Fixins!

FRIDAY:
Lunch- Cooks choice!
Dinner- Hamburger steak, side salad, and choice of side.

Saturday:
Breakfast- All You Can Eat Breakfast Bar
🚦 Special cruise in hours!! 3pm-7pm!!!

📣 We are open Tuesday-Friday 7:30am -7pm.
Lunch is served from 10:30am-2pm.
Dinner is served from 4:30pm-7pm.
Saturdays 7:30am-11am.

What a pleasure to have the Apple Family and friends from Ridgetop Tennessee visit The Greenback Heritage Museum on Saturday. While staying at the Greenback Train Depot Airbnb they also attended The Savanna Bananas in Knoxville.

Here’s a little history from the owner of The Home Decor Resale Store.

In 1997, I bought an empty, dilapidated building in Downton Greenback, fixed it up and opened shop. At the time, we had the diner, post office, bank, Ray’s barber shop next door, but it was otherwise a ghost town. The depot was falling apart, there was a boat-hull junkyard behind it. The buildings next to the diner had floors and ceilings falling in. I still recognized what a darling little town it was, and always saw loads of potential. Over the last three decades, I have watched the town slowly and steadily improve, and for the first time in my business’s 29-year history, I can look out the window and see something going on in every downtown building. My decades-long dream of a vibrant downtown have finally come true! A big BRAVO and THANK YOU to all the small business owners who have hung out a shingle in Downtown Greenback!
I am overjoyed to see it!

🌺The long-awaited Bloom at Bluestem festival is almost here! Get your friends and family together for this beautiful day on the farm! Plenty of vendors, the grand opening of The Kitchen, and ICE CREAM! 🌺We are located at 7085 Morganton Road in Greenback. Parking for the event will be in the front pasture. 🌱 A Heartfelt Thank You 🌱
To all our regulars and new customers — thank you for your patience and understanding as we transition our menu. We know it’s disappointing to come in craving a favorite item and find it’s not available, and we truly appreciate your grace as we make some big changes behind the scenes.

We’re saying goodbye to shortcuts and focusing fully on what Bluestem Hollow was always meant to be — a true farm-to-table experience. That means cooking with ingredients grown from our soil, harvested from our gardens, and raised right here on our land (or by our local partners who share our values).

You’ll notice a few menu shifts — like saying farewell (for now) to the fried ranch chips (and no more seed oils!) — but we promise brighter skies ahead. The menu will follow the seasons, ingredients will come from the farm and locally wherever possible and yes… sometimes things will sell out. That’s the beauty of serving what’s real.

We’re so excited for what’s growing next, and we’re deeply thankful for each of you walking this path with us.
