What an empowering Saturday! ✨
This past weekend, our team attended the transformative "Lead like your legacy depends on it!" summit at the DoubleTree by Hilton Deerfield Beach-Boca.

Brought to us by Dr. Shernette Grant ( Leadership), the day was a masterclass in leading boldly, building strategically, and leaving a lasting legacy.

We gained incredible insights from a phenomenal lineup of South Florida speakers, including William S. Beckman, Ayanna Edwards, Sarah Goodman, Althea Bryan Farr, Corey G. Patterson, Sheri Brown Grosvenor, Tamara Lobban, Frank Rekas, Dr. Angelika Schlanger, and Vernicca Wynter. From uncovering organizational blind spots to mastering mindful leadership, every session challenged us to think bigger about community impact and non-profit strategy.

Sheri Brown Grosvenor, Community Foundation of Broward keynote speech focused on “know Your Why, Understand Your Purpose and Be Intentional About the Relationships You Build and the Spaces You Enter."

As Dr. Grant beautifully reminded us: "Leadership is a responsibility centered on people and culture." We are so excited to bring these powerful strategies and new professional connections straight back to our mission and the women we serve in the Palm Beaches! 💼🌱

Why is Dress for Success Palm Beaches such a vital partner at premier events like Wednesday's Red Apple Foundation Scholarship Luncheon?
Because we help ensure that education translates directly into economic independence.

On Wednesday, the Red Apple Foundation awarded a record-breaking $100,000 in scholarships to 25 deserving scholars. We are especially proud that many of these young women came to Dress for Success Palm Beaches to be professionally suited for the scholarship ceremony, helping them look and feel confident as they celebrated this important milestone.
While the Red Apple Foundation provides critical educational opportunities, our mission is to help women successfully transition from graduation into meaningful careers. 🎓➡️🌍

✨ Busy, Productive & Impactful Month at Dress for Success Palm Beaches ✨
What an incredible month it has been! We are proud to share the amazing work happening throughout our organization and the lives being impacted across our communities.
🛍️ We kicked off the month with our TWO-DAY POP-UP SALE, and it was a tremendous success! Thank you to everyone who came out to support, shop, donate, and uplift our mission.
🌸 Our Spring Road to Success Program is officially underway with more than 30 participants registered! We are now entering week three, and the sessions have been filled with energy, engagement, growth, and inspiration. Watching participants connect, learn, and prepare for future success has truly been rewarding.
💼 We also hosted another packed Professional Women’s Group session with more than 40 women in attendance for an engaging discussion on Artificial Intelligence. The room was filled with dynamic conversation, networking, empowerment, and professional development.
🎓 One of the highlights of the month was our Annual Scholarship Dinner, which was an incredible success! We proudly awarded 25 scholarships to deserving students throughout our service areas.
Many of this year’s recipients came from Belle Glade; one of the poorest communities in the state of Florida where we remain committed to creating opportunities, hope, and access for young people striving for a brighter future.
We were also honored to award scholarships to students from Martin County, Palm Beach and Broward County. A heartfelt THANK YOU to our scholarship funders, the Quinn Foundation and the Broder Family Trust, whose generosity made these scholarships possible.
