Dress for Success Palm Beaches was honored to serve as a community partner with the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship and FSU for its six-week Entrepreneurship Boot Camp in West Palm Beach.

Three of our staff members participated in the program and proudly completed the course this past Saturday, joining 50 fellow aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals committed to learning, growing, and building successful businesses.

This opportunity was especially meaningful because many of the women we serve through our job-readiness programs are already small-business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, or exploring entrepreneurship as their pathway to economic independence. By investing in our own staff’s knowledge and skills, we are better equipped to support, guide, and empower the women we serve.

We are incredibly grateful to the Jim Moran Institute and FSU for bringing this valuable program to West Palm Beach and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and community leaders to grow.

A special thank you to Susana Santos and Marcella Taylor for leading the charge and making this experience possible. We look forward to continued partnerships and future opportunities that strengthen our entrepreneurial community.

We are deeply honored and grateful to be nominated and selected as Nonprofit of the Year by the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), South Florida Chapter.

At Dress for Success Palm Beaches, our mission is to empower women who are unemployed, underemployed, or looking to change careers by providing job readiness, professional development, confidence-building, and the resources they need to achieve economic self-sufficiency.

A special thank you to Dr. Phillip Harris, Economic Development Director for the City of Greenacres, for your support and for recognizing the impact of our work in the community.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to ASPA South Florida Chapter for this meaningful nomination and honor. Recognition such as this reinforces the importance of the work we do every day to ignite careers and transform lives.

Celebrate success with us! 🎓✨

This week, 24 incredible women officially graduated from our Summer '26 Road to Success (RTS) program, marking a monumental milestone for workforce readiness and economic empowerment in our community.

Our graduates took the stage at Dress for Success Palm Beaches to present their inspiring career vision boards and receive their certificates of completion.

Over the last six weeks, these dedicated women have leveled up their professional branding, mastered interview strategies, and built sustainable high-performance habits to step into the local workforce with total confidence.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our specialized network of volunteer mentors, career coaches, facilitator, CEO and guest speakers who invested their time and wisdom into this class.

The finish line is in sight! ❤️ 👠

Yesterday marked the final day of classes for our Summer '26 Road to Success (RTS) cohort.

Our incredible participants wrapped up Week 4 with an immersive Interview and Job Search session, capped off by an expert-led Career & Resource Panel. A massive thank you to State Representative Debra Tendrich, as well as our fantastic community partners from the Urban League, ADT, Express Employment Pros, U.S. EEOC, The Nora Hotel, CareerSource, Successful Life Transitions, The Lord's Place, and PBSO for pouring their knowledge and expertise into our future leaders! 💼✨

Next stop: Graduation! 🎓
Next Wednesday, September 2nd, our delegates will present their vision boards and officially take the stage to celebrate their hard-earned milestone.

Wednesday, August 19th, Dress for Success Palm Beaches kicked off week three of our signature Road to Success Job Readiness Program with two inspiring speakers from Related Ross and the Related Ross Foundation, Brooke Watson and Danielle Bimonte.
Brooke and Danielle gave our participants an enlightening, engaging presentation on how to interview successfully, present yourself professionally, and navigate the job search process. They also shared valuable information about current employment opportunities and how participants can apply for open positions with Related Ross.

We are grateful to Brooke and Danielle for investing their time, knowledge, and expertise in our participants and helping them take another important step toward economic independence and career success.
