No practice this week as we will be at the Florida Budokan フロリダ武道館 in Eustis for their martial and fine arts event, Shugyo Matsuri! Hope some of you can make the drive up!

We had a great practice today! In addition to a lot of sparring, we also covered some jo staff work that translated very well into spear fighting, along with some Sumo that will definitely prep us for grappling training later down the line. Thank you to Matt for driving up from Sunrise to check us out! We will be meeting up again on February 12th!

This is the West Palm Beach District for Way of the Sword Combat Sports, a boffer combat game with philosophical inspiration from Japanese martial culture. Local Branches are Kaneyama (Japanese inspired), and Cu Cuan(15-16th Cen Celtic and "Sea Dogs")

A call to arms has been given by our friends at the local Amtgard park! Cresthaven is being raided and is requesting assistance in fending off the attack!This Sunday, instead of meeting at our regular time and location, we will instead be meeting at 11:45 am at John Prince Park in Lake Worth Beach. With the recent up-tick in covid cases and a few of us having some close calls with exposure, we have decided we will be taking a couple weeks off from hosting practice. Don't lose hope, though. Later this month, we plan to open up a second practice day, meaning twice the opportunity for fighting!
