Welcome, Emily, to the Camp Y-Noah Team!!

"Hi guys, I'm Emily and I'm the new communications coordinator! This summer, I'll be creating social media posts, working with alumni, and helping to get families excited about camp! I'm so happy to be part of the Camp Y-Noah team and I'm really looking forward to working with everyone. This isn't my first time at a summer camp, but it is my first time at Y-Noah. I love trying new things, traveling, spending time laughing with my friends, and good ice cream. I believe Hannah Montanta when she says, "life's what you make it." But if I can't always make it rock, I'm at least gonna try and enjoy it, so let's have a great summer!"

Welcome, Woody, to the Camp Y-Noah Team!

"Hi everyone!! I’m Woody, and I am SO ready for this summer at Camp Y-Noah as the Resident Camp Lead Counselor ! I’m coming over from YMCA Camp Tippecanoe where I spent three years as a counselor, and I cannot wait to do it all over again with a brand new crew. I’m a choir kid, a soccer player, a swimmer, an anime watcher, and a video game enthusiast. Basically if it sounds fun, I’m in! I have recently graduated with my bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in childhood development from BGSU and my goal is to make sure every camper feels like they belong and goes home with a story worth telling. Let’s make this the best summer ever, can’t wait to see you at camp!!"

Our staff is now Belay trained! We are excited and we know that you are too! Thanks to these amazing people, you campers have the opportunity to try our ropes courses this summer. We offer a Rockwall, Alpine Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and High Ropes Elements!

We want to thank all of our wonderful volunteers for the work you did at Camp Y-Noah! We really appreciate the time you took to come out and help, and we've seen the huge impact you've made. We are so grateful for everyone's commitment to improving the campgrounds to make sure our campers have the best summer ever! We thank you again for your help, and if you are ever interested in coming back to volunteer again, we would be stoked to have you!

We are so proud of all of our staff who spent the last several days completing their lifeguarding training. This allows them to Lifeguard during G-Swim and Boating. Their dedication to keeping our campers safe is so important, and we couldn't be happier! Thank you Lifeguards! 🌊

Also a huge shoutout to the Green Family YMCA and the Lake Anna YMCA for letting us use their facilities for the training! ☀️

Today we are highlighting our incredible Camp Maintenance Team that helped Day of Action run smoothly! Billy, Rocky, Miryam, Lincoln, and Micah were on the ground and running, all three days! They all play a role in the preparation, coordination, and care that are need for a successful Day of Action!

If you see them around Camp, make sure to to thank them for all of the work they have done and will continue to do, to make this summer and all of our spaces, GREAT! 🛠️ 🧡
