The 10th Annual Jaime Pinaire 5K Race & Fun Run is this Saturday, and the weather is looking absolutely perfect — a bit cool which is ideal for a great run or walk at Chatham High School.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just looking for a fun morning with the community, we’d love to have you join us at the starting line. Bring family, bring friends — everyone is welcome!

The Jaime Pinaire 5K Race and Fun Run returns for its 10th anniversary on May 30, and this year we run/walk in loving dedication to Terry McCabe, a cherished friend and longtime supporter whose spirit continues to guide us. Can’t make it in person? Join our virtual 5K from May 30 to June 7, and run from anywhere while still supporting scholarships through the James A Pinaire III Foundation.

With profound sadness, we share the passing of our dear friend and longtime supporter, Terry McCabe.
Terry has been a part of the James A. Pinaire III Foundation since its very beginning. Every year, he served on the planning board of the Jaime Pinaire 5K & Fun Run race, giving his time, energy, and enthusiasm to help make the event meaningful for all who participated.
But Terry didn’t just plan the race—he lived it. He often ran the 5K himself and then transformed into the heart of our finish‑line celebration, stepping in as our DJ for many years. Whether he was calling out runners by name, cracking jokes that made everyone smile, or keeping the music going strong, Terry brought a unique joy and warmth that became part of the race’s identity.
His presence, his humor, and his unwavering support for our mission will be deeply missed. Terry touched countless lives in our community, and his spirit will always be felt at the starting line, along the course, and especially at the finish.
Our hearts are with Terry’s family and loved ones.
We are grateful for his friendship—and we will continue to honor his legacy in all the work we do.
Rest in peace, Terry. Thank you for everything. 💙

Our Comedy Night Fundraiser was a huge success—full of laughter, good spirits, and incredible community support! We couldn’t have done it without YOU.

Thank you to everyone who attended and donated—your generosity helps us provide scholarships for students with financial need at Chatham High School and Robert Treat Academy. Right now, we’re proud to be assisting 28 high school students with tuition!
