Well, we were going to do a three-fer, and have another foodie cookbook novel for 3 months in a row, but The Cookbook Club, which came out in October-along with some Christmas titles I was considering for review-are still showing on order at the library, even though they are now out & on bestseller lists all over. I inquired at the beginning of November, and again at the beginning of December, but the library’s response was “please shut up and be patient” even though books released in November & December are on the library shelves. So, unknown what happened to the library’s October book order. I’m not sure yet what December’s book will be, possibly an actual cookbook. Or some feel-good book I haven’t found yet. I’m capable of patience, but not of shutting up. If those books ever show up, we’ll read them.
