When you research your family history, you find out you have all kinds of ancestors: farmers, shopkeepers, slave owners, congressmen, and more. Owning the multiple dimensions of our history is a key part of recognizing the fullness of ourselves.
Here in the Green Valley – Sahuarita Genealogy Library we have many books that can help you like this one: Slaves in the Family by Edwards Ball (975.7 B187be). Come on over and check us out!

Join us for our last monthly meeting before our summer break. We welcome non-members to meetings so you can see what a fun and fascinating bunch we are.
Although we don't have monthly meetings during the summer, we do continue some of our Special Interest Groups through the hot months and of course, the Green Valley – Sahuarita Genealogy Library at La Posada remains open. We love to listen and chat and get newcomers hooked on history!
