WEEK NINE - There is truly no place like camp! This last week we saw hearts change and victories be proclaimed that could only be done through the sovereign hand of God.

“And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” 1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭

His faithfulness remains steadfast, His love remains constant— every single week of camp this summer was evidence of that.
Thank you Lord for another wonderful summer at Hume SoCal! We are so excited to see how He continues to advance His kingdom in these upcoming seasons.

WEEK EIGHT - A glimpse into the love of the Lord. It was a blessing getting to love and serve Calvary Westlake this last week! What a joy it is to partner with the church in this way and watch the Spirit stir the hearts of these campers!

ONE more week left of camp?! Wow, we just cannot believe it - stay tuned with us as we cherish these last few days at camp together!

WEEK SEVEN - A product of God’s love, grace, and blessings. This week we reflected on Christ’s everlasting presence and abundant grace.

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬ ‭

It is a bittersweet thought to think that there is only TWO weeks left of camp, but we are so excited to see how the Lord moves in the lives of these campers!

WEEK SIX - Epic rec, joyful worship, deep conversation, sweet memories, and a whole lotta fun— God is still moving & remains ever faithful!

We are taking in every single moment as we think about having only THREE weeks left of camp!

WEEK FIVE - Every single day is a gift from God and we are cherishing each and every one! What a fun-filled, encouraging, worshipful week it’s been!

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

WEEK THREE - We praise God for His love and faithfulness, which was sooo evidently displayed through this last week at camp! The games, fun, worship, fellowship, laughter, it all belongs to Him— HE is worthy of our praise.

Psalm 100
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”

We are expectant of the Lord and what He will do in these next SEVEN weeks!

WEEK TWO - What a blessing it was to have this amazing group of middle school campers with us this last week! Laughs were had, games were played, trees were climbed, but most importantly so many life changing decisions were made.

We cannot wait to see how the Lord works in these next SEVEN weeks!!!

Stories from Summer Camp, June 7–13, 2026

What a week to see and hear the work that God has done in the hearts of campers! Praise God that we can have eternal hope through faith in the death and resurrection of His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. 🙌
