We’ve had some fun birthdays and just fun days recently at the Group Homes 💜

The nurses were spoiled on nurses week 💜 Stacy Moore (our HSC) has been a nurse for 19 years and with Elmwood for 23 years. Shelly Davis (our AHSC) has been a nurse for 25 years and with Elmwood 1 1/2 years. We also have 2 PRN nurses Ivy Sampsel and Amanda Fay who we are very thankful for. Thank you for all you do! 💜🩺

(UN)OFFICIAL STATEMENT

In response to humans reaching the farthest distance ever recorded from Earth, Elmwood is proud to report similar achievements.

At this time:
• One resident has traveled from their room to “somewhere else” with great determination
• Another made it halfway down the hall and declared the journey complete
• Several have no recollection of the trip but agree it was successful
• One has appointed themselves captain of something

We applaud all explorers and their commitment to going somewhere, eventually.

Snacks will be served upon return, regardless of departure.

It is with our deepest sympathy that we share this loss. Jen was with our Elmwood group home family for 15 years. ✝️
After her services we will be holding a lunch at our group homes to share pictures and memories of Jen. Anyone is welcome.
All is welcome.

(UN)OFFICIAL STATEMENT

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the KitKat company following the tragic and completely devastating loss of 12 tons of KitKats in what experts are now calling “the most delicious crime of our time.”

In completely unrelated news, we have launched a full-scale investigation into the mysterious disappearance of a truckload of KitKats.

At this time:
• Several residents recall having just one (and it was life-changing)
• A few are confident they “definitely saved it for later” (status: unverified)
• One insists they’ve never liked KitKats and should not be questioned further
• Another would like to confirm if this officially counts as a snack emergency

We believe we may have solved the case.
Unfortunately, we immediately forgot what the solution was.

Evidence is limited. Spirits are high. Wrappers are… everywhere.

In closing, while justice may never be served, more KitKats will be.

Stay vigilant. Stay snacking.

Started the day with Frank Mosser’s birthday party. He turned the young age of 70 today! Finished the night off partying at Night to Shine! Everyone had so much fun 💜
