40 Something Cowgirls, Green River, WY We are the Green River, WY Chapter of 40 Something Cowgirls. 40SC Nat'l HQ is in Breckenridge, TX. After all we are in this for the fun of it.

40 Something Cowgirls is the "funn-est bunch of horsewomen on the planet" and the only national horse-lovers club for mature women. We host events in search of fun & friendship. 21+ we are all just 40 somethin & holding! We believe in laughter, support, positive enthusiasm and a solid sense of adventure and we pledge to not take ourselves to seriously. Horse ownership is not a requirement to join!

A huge shoutout to Christina Sanders and her mare "Raya".

On July 31st at our local fair, Christina and "Raya" rode in Wyoming's Big Fair ranch sort jackpot. Low and behold, the team walked out winning a saddle for their division.

Who has made your journey better? 💕

July’s Sisterhood Series Challenge theme is Side by Side, and this month is all about the women who make the ride, the road, and the journey better.

It is not about how far you ride. It is about the laughter, encouragement, conversations, and friendships built along the way. Some of the best memories are not made because of where we rode, but because of who rode beside us.

This month, we invite you to connect with another 40 Something Cowgirl. Ride together, grab lunch, welcome someone new, reconnect with a sister you have missed, or simply reach out with a kind word.

To participate:
Register for the July Sisterhood Series Challenge through the 40SC website or Wild Apricot app.

To complete the challenge:

Today marks the final day of our June Sisterhood Series Challenge: Ride Free!

✨ Have you shared your freedom moment yet?

✨ A trail, arena, or adventure that filled your soul
✨ A breakthrough with your horse

Your story doesn't have to be big to be meaningful. Sometimes freedom is found in the simplest moments. 🤍

🤎 "I'd love to get involved... but where do I start?"

Getting involved in 40 Something Cowgirls doesn't mean you have to do everything. Sometimes it starts with showing up to a chapter ride, introducing yourself to another member, volunteering to lend a hand, or simply saying "yes" to a new experience.

The beautiful thing about this sisterhood is that there's a place for every Cowgirl.
