Spaceport Days 2026 was another success! The boys had a great overnight trip, watched a movie at the spaceport, conducted a pancake and sausage breakfast, got to see the planes flying in and out and watched a “STOL” (short take off and landing) demonstration by one of the pilots. The troop earned about $250 in donations during our breakfast. Thank you to everyone that donated for your generosity!

At our meeting this week Kaleb Scott was elected by his peers to enter the honor society of scouting, known as the Order of the Arrow! We know Kaleb will do well and will do us proud! Great job, we look forward to you attending your ordeal ceremony!

The troop held it’s leadership elections tonight. Brooks Rushing was elected to serve as the new Senior Patrol Leader while Kaleb Scott and Rowdy Hicks will continue to serve as the Wolverines and Rattlesnakes Patrol Leaders. Great job, fellas!

312 has two new Scout rank scouts to calibrate! First, Wayne Flom earned his new rank before we left for summer camp. Then this week Porter Greene earned his new patch at our meeting. Both scouts crossed over to the Troop from Cub Scouts and have started their journey at the next level. Congratulations, boys!
