Good afternoon everyone,

This is notification that this year will be holding elections for the board. Positions up for election are,

Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary

These are all 2 year terms

Per the By-Laws
Elections will Occur Yearly at the end of the league year (after all Stars) No later than the 1st of November, or the conclusion of the Casper tournament, whichever is later. Nominations and elections shall be open to the represented membership of Green River YFL(parents, coaches, board)

September 1 of each year the league secretary will place notice to coaches and on the league social media page regarding upcoming elections. Any interested party will send a short letter of interest to the league secretary and the information will be shared with the league coaches.

Responsibility for these positions are:

A. In the absence of the President at any meetings, the Vice-President shall exercise the powers and duties of the President. He/she shall also be responsible for the following duties:

• Player Registration
• Player Drafts, trades, and dismissals

B. The secretary shall keep a record of all meetings and be entitled to such stationary, postage and supplies as the duties of the office require. Perform such other executive and administrative duties as authorized by the President.
• Maintain a list of all players and rosters with name, age and grade
• Provide meeting minutes on the League social media site
• Provide updates and maintain league social media Site
• Provide team hand-outs for schedules, picture schedules, etc.

C. The Treasurer shall keep a record of all funds, deposits and all league interactions with State Bank, make all disbursements via check (signed by themselves or the President) as authorized by the Executive Committee.
• Present a monthly statement to the board
• Sign on all purchases and expenditures
• Maintain bank ledger
