Making a Difference

Having been a foster parent for over 18 years and having fostered over 140 children in our home, I want to provide for the needs of single parents and their children. I want them to have a better chance to be successful.

At the McKenzie Home we will provide a safe and secure place for single moms and their children to live and learn how to be excellent members of their community. The McKenzie Home will help single moms obtain everything from a GED to practical knowledge of life skills. We are happy to be creating a place that will help individuals and our state. A Good Resource for the Community

I was raised by a single mother and when I met my wife she was also a single mother. I know from experience as a son, just how difficult it can be to be a single mother. I watched my mother and my now wife tackle the stresses and challenges of life with grace and grit.
