🍀In June we hosted a daily care clinic. In July we hosted a showmanship clinic to help Carroll County kids have a great fair. BIG Thanks to Monty, Andrew, Katelyn, Clayton, Nella and Aaron for all the help!🍀

🍀 We have had a busy summer with lots of active members. So, I’ll try to get a few things updated. We helped place flags in May and then had kids help collect those flags back up.

We are meeting for showmanship July 6th at the fairgrounds.

Anyone is welcome to join. We have experts to assist with showmanship in pig, goat, dairy goat, sheep and cattle. You are encourage to bring your animals. I will also be available to validate any animals for county or state shows.

Exhibitors must have All livestock entered in Showworks by July 1st. The link is on the Carroll County Arkansas Fairgrounds page.

There is still a little bit of time to find an Arkansas Bred Lamb to show at State Fair and you District Fairs. Several AJSC Breeders still have lambs available.

Lambs need to be purchased by next Wednesday, July 1. DNA kits need to be ordered by that day to be mailed. State Fair DNA kits need to be postmarked by July 15. AYE entries and AJSC membership and ABL nominations are due July 31.
