Crisis Intervention Partners (CIP) is a free, 16-hour training designed to help people better understand and respond to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

The training is open to a wide range of professionals and community members, including:

• 911 dispatchers
• Correctional officers
• Emergency personnel
• Hospital staff
• Teachers and school staff
• Social workers
• And others who may interact with someone experiencing a crisis

Participants will learn practical communication skills, attitudes, and strategies—including verbal and non-verbal techniques—to help improve interactions and responses during crisis situations.
