Lucky 7 Dog Rescue Rescue, rehome, repeat, that's our motto! Lucky 7 was founded in order to help find placement for dogs in need from the Houston, Texas and surrounding area.

We are a Green Bay, WI foster-based rescue and run by volunteers and donations from the community.
501(c)(3) non profit Many of the dogs we rescue have been mistreated, abandoned, forgotten, or neglected. These dogs are in need of love and loyalty and we hope to find each one their perfect family. We are incredibly grateful to the Neenah Animal Shelter and Fox Valley Humane Society for accepting many of our dogs into their adoption programs. We are also forever greatful to Lola's Lucky Day of Houston, Texas for sharing their fully vetted and transferable dogs with us. Thank you for trusting their placement in our hands. Lucky 7 is a 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization.

🍂 Tip Tuesday: Don’t Forget Those Paws! 🐾

Fall walks can mean rain, mud, leaves, and plenty of little things getting stuck in your pup’s paws! 🌧️🍁

After a walk, take a quick peek at those paws and wipe them down if they’re wet or muddy. Check between the toes and paw pads for leaves, burrs, sticks, or other debris that could cause irritation.

It only takes a minute and helps keep those paws clean, comfortable, and ready for the next adventure! 🐶💙

🐾 Granny Gatewood here, wondering why I’m STILL waiting for my forever home!

I’m 10 years young, 60 pounds of golden-girl goodness, and I’ve still got plenty of gas left in this tank! I enjoy walks, backyard zoomies, car rides, and making sure my humans know when I need a little potty break. 🚗🐕

I’m perfectly happy to spend some time in my crate, but what I’d REALLY love is a family to call my own. A fenced-in yard for my occasional zoomies would be the cherry on top!

I’m still deciding how I feel about this whole Wisconsin winter thing. I may be a brave girl, but I’m keeping my warm-weather condo reservation on standby just in case. 😂

So, what do you say? Ready to give this Golden Girl her happily-ever-after? I promise there’s plenty of life, love, and sass left in me! ❤️
