Pulling Together For A Cure GRB

We invite you to test your strength against an airport firetruck weighing 94,000 pounds at the American Cancer Society Pulling Together for a Cure GRB. This is our first year for the event held at the Green Bay – Austin Straubel International Airport in collaboration with Delta Air Lines on Saturday, June 1, 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. This free event is open to the public and includes the Pull, entertainment via The Voice of Hope singing competition, food tents and the Indian taco truck, micro-craft beers featuring WI Brews, plenty of kid’s activities featuring Copper Ridge Farm Mobile petting zoo, Home Depot wood kits, basket and bucket drawings, a Survivors pull, and more! Teams pre-register for the chance to compete in the ultimate tug of war while raising funds to support lifesaving cancer research and patient programs and services for Wisconsinites. Pulling Together offers organizations, businesses, friends, and colleagues the opportunity to join together in a friendly competition, build camaraderie, and raise funds to help eliminate the pain and suffering of cancer. Register your team now! The event is limited to 20 teams of 10 members per team. Each team participant will raise a minimum of $250 (or $2,500 as a team) due on event day to compete. Let’s not forget Great Entertainment via The Voice of Hope singing competition featuring local celebrity coaches who will also be performing: Frank Hermans of Let Me Be Frank Productions and Anna Snyder of The Cougars. Sixteen contestants have been chosen to compete on June 1st, these 16 will perform via karaoke and be selected to join a local celebrity coach’s team. Singers will go head to head in knockout rounds competing for votes (aka donations) that will lead to a live finale revealing the grand-prize winner. The winner will walk away with the ‘ultimate prize’ – a trophy, prizes courtesy of Delta Air Lines and Star 98, showcased on Star 98 on air, and bragging rights!
