Last week, Bay Port students had the opportunity to hear from the UW–Stevens Point Concert Choir as they kicked off their tour right here at Bay Port! 🎶

The choir, made up of 32 students under the direction of Dr. Matheus Cuz, performed six beautiful selections and spent time answering questions from Bay Port students about music and college life in the arts.

It was especially meaningful to welcome back Bay Port alumni Ian and Elliott Peot and Caliegh Deeslie as members of the ensemble. There’s something special about seeing former Pirate musicians continuing their passion at the collegiate level and inspiring the next generation of student performers along the way. 💙

The future of music in our district is in good hands. 🎶

Congratulations to the Lineville 5th & 6th Grade Choir on a fantastic concert this week! Their hard work, energy, and growing confidence were on full display, and they did an amazing job.

One of the best parts of the music community is watching these young voices grow year after year — from elementary and intermediate performances all the way to the Bay Port stage. We can’t wait to see where music takes these students next!
