Today we’re celebrating Brent Roubal and his 11-year workiversary at CollegeReady!

Brent's commitment to our mission and genuine care for those we serve shines through in every interaction with students, families, donors, supporters, community partners, and team members. His thoughtful, steady leadership has made a lasting impact on CollegeReady and on the many students whose futures are brighter because of the opportunities this organization provides.

He’s also the kind of leader who pitches in wherever he’s needed–even when the job involves rescuing small creatures that have somehow fallen into our office window well. 🐇😂

Congratulations, Brent! Here’s to another year of making an incredible difference in our community! 🥳

✨Introducing our first Scholars of the Month for the 2026-27 school year!✨

Each month, we’ll highlight one high school and one middle school student in our college readiness program for going above and beyond in the pursuit of knowledge, growth, and the CollegeReady Spirit. 🤩

We're pleased to introduce our October 2026 Scholars of the Month:

Viridiana has been earning her Scholar Spotlight recognition since this summer, when she volunteered for our 6th Grade Summer Academy. A dependable student and great communicator, she is always willing to lend a hand, and brings a positive presence to our after-school program. Viri has a natural ability to encourage and support her classmates, and we're excited to see her continue growing as a confident peer leader!

Oscar is a great example of the qualities we hope to see in our college readiness scholars! Although brand new to the program, he jumped right in to volunteer at New Student Orientation and he's always thinking about ways to recruit more students and make the most of school success resources like Infinite Campus and Classter. Oscar's energy adds a lot of fun to our program space and we're glad to have him in CollegeReady!

Join us in celebrating these inspiring students who are setting the standard for what it means to be CollegeReady!
