Local Black-owned businesses are more than just places to shop or dine. They're pillars of our community that create jobs, provide mentorship, and show the next generation what's possible when you pursue your dreams with determination and purpose. These businesses strengthen the fabric of Northeast Wisconsin through resilience, culture, and economic progress.

From restaurants and salons to nonprofits and professional services, Black entrepreneurs across our region are making a lasting impact every single day.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we want to take a moment to say: kids mental health matters! A lot!
Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported—not just physically, but emotionally too.

At Little Hearts Big Minds, we work every day to create spaces where children can grow, express themselves, and build confidence.

This month, we’re standing with families, caregivers, and communities to say:
🤍It’s okay to ask for help.
🤍It’s okay to talk about feelings.
🤍And it’s more than okay to prioritize mental wellness—it’s necessary.

We’re in this together. For our little hearts. For their big minds.
