Our hope is to foster a long term relationship by providing prayer support and community connections.

💙💚CRISIS RESPONSE TRIP💙💚

We spent the week with a group from Spring Lake Church ministering in North Carolina to families still recovering after Hurricane Helene. What an outstanding team of staff and volunteers we had!

The team was unified and worked hard not only doing physical work but praying over the community and strengthening relationships. The team even took some time and enjoyed God’s beautiful creation. We shared laughs and tears and grew as servants of His.

Thank you ReachGlobal Crisis Response for your faithfulness to this community long after the storm. This staff truly loves the people here and are healing families, one house at a time.

A very special shoutout to the team that kept the Crisis Cafe kitchen going and serving!

9️⃣0️⃣HAPPY 90th BIRTHDAY GRANDMA JAN9️⃣0️⃣

Rita’s Mom turns 90 today! She watches over Crisis Cafe while Phil and Rita travel, letting volunteers into the kitchen and making sure they have what they need. She sits on the Executive Board and is our greatest prayer warrior. Grandma is always willing to step in and help when volunteers cancel or when we are shorthanded. She loves being a part of Crisis Cafe. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Is there something God is asking of you? Maybe He is pointing you to take a step of faith that is uncomfortable. You are not alone. God puts challenges before us to increase our faith, love others more deeply,and serve Him to our greatest capacity.

Saying❗️YES ❗️to Crisis Cafe has brought us blessings and opportunities we never expected. God has done miracles in our lives, volunteers lives, and in the lives of those we serve. He has provided our every need. Life is more meaningful and our relationships are enriched by the ability to serve Him and serve with others in our community.

So…..SAY❗️YES❗️God will never disappoint and you will never regret allowing Him to use you. What an amazing God we get to serve! He doesn’t NEED you but He is choosing you for a very special assignment!❗️SAY YES❗️

While we still want to enjoy our beautiful Wisconsin fall, we are also planning ahead for December.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED FOR THE
🎄ADOPT A FAMILY PROGRAM🎄
Couples, families, or life groups can adopt a family, donate, shop, organize, wrap, or all of the above.

We provide practical needs gifts to the families such as diapers, basic clothing, snow pants, boots, hats, mittens, household items, and a few fun items too. Lists and details will be provided later but we need to recruit first!

What if Crisis Cafe was serving food during the 80s??

⚠️Hamburger $1.20 lb
⚠️Gallon of milk $1.50
⚠️Eggs .60
⚠️Loaf of bread .50
⚠️1 lb of pasta .40
⚠️Bananas .25 lb
⚠️Canned vegetables .30

We didn’t have computers or smartphones, social media or QR codes, scanners or Quickbooks. What a difference 40 years makes! We are very grateful for modern conveniences, but we wouldn’t mind paying 80s grocery store prices again. 😎

☀️😎🍉SO LONG SUMMER 😎🍉☀️
Crisis Cafe has some very exciting things planned for fall, but for now, we say goodbye to a crazy, but fun summer.

We made memories with youth groups, new and old friends, and many were encouraged and helped along the way. So thankful we get to serve in this city. What a blessing to watch God work in Green Bay! 💚💛

Thank you everyone! We couldn’t do this alone!

🙏🏻🙏🏻PRAYERS REQUESTED 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Gary has faithfully served with Crisis Cafe every Tuesday evening for a year and a half. Whether it is 90 degrees or -3 degrees, pouring rain or a blizzard, he always has a smile on his face and has a joke ready for us. He even plays “Happy Birthday” on the saxophone for birthdays!

Gary is having a back procedure on Thursday and we would appreciate your prayers for him! He is a very special member of the Crisis Cafe family. 💚GET WELL SOON GARY! 💚Can’t wait to hear more bad jokes from you. 🙃

🥪🍔❓WHATS FOR DINNER❓🍔🥪
Phil spends a lot of time in the Crisis Cafe kitchen, but he also spends A LOT of time at grocery stores, organizing the freezers, managing inventory, and menu planning.

He has an amazing gift of getting everything done at the same time, tasting good, staying hot, AND in the right quantities AND budget.

One of his favorite things is seeing volunteers smile when he lets them know at the end of their shift how much time they saved us. For instance, a group of 8 that serves for an hour and a half saves us 12 hours of work!

He also wants to thank💙💚 Brett Huss💙💚 for “nudging” him to consider how God could use his talents for HIS GLORY. We love you and miss you, Brett. Phil wants everyone to just “SAY YES” to what God is pressing on your heart!

👏🏻📖STORY TIME 👏🏻📖
After a year of planning, designing, late nights, and a whole lot of volunteer help,❗️WE WELCOMED VOLUNTEERS into the kitchen FOR THE FIRST TIME 5 YEARS AGO TODAY❗️

Since then, we have prepared thousands of meals, shared laughs and tears with thousands of volunteers, prayed for the hurting, and made many new friends and connections.

We are so very grateful for this gift God gave to Crisis Cafe. THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the kitchen project and those who faithfully donate to keep the ministry operating!

❤️🏘️NEIGHBORHOOD PARTY🏘️❤️
What a fun time we had in our own neighborhood tonight! Everyone brought chairs into the cul de sac, grabbed a hot dog and some snacks, and we all chatted until dark. We were even treated by a rainbow. It was a beautiful night with you,Rolling Green Drive neighbors! Thank you for your support of Crisis Cafe.
