You don't have to be fearless to keep moving forward.

Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God...”

God spoke these words to His people through Isaiah, reminding them that their hope wasn't in their own strength, but in His presence and power.

Maybe you needed that reminder today.

You can feel uncertain and still trust God. You can feel overwhelmed and still take the next step. You can have questions and still hold on to His promises.

Courage doesn't mean you never feel afraid. It means fear doesn't get the final say.

You are not facing today alone. God is with you, He will strengthen you, and He will help you.

Take a breath. Take the next step. Let His presence be enough for today. ❤️

You are a part of God's family. ❤️

Not because you have it all together. Not because you've earned your place. Through faith in Jesus, you are welcomed into the family of God.

That means you don't have to walk through life believing you're on your own. You have a Father who loves you, a Savior who made a way for you, and a family of believers to grow alongside.

And here's the beautiful part: God's family isn't meant to be a place where we pretend we're perfect. It's a place where we learn to love, forgive, encourage, and carry one another through every season.

You were never meant to follow Jesus alone. Find your people. Show up. Make room for someone else, too.

There's a place for you in the family of God.

Even the ordinary matters.

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31

Not just when you're serving at church. Not just when someone is watching. Not just when the task feels important.

When you're working, raising kids, helping a neighbor, answering a difficult message, or doing the job nobody else wants to do—your everyday life can point people to Jesus.

Paul wrote these words while teaching believers how to make everyday choices with God's honor in mind.

Here's the question: Does the way I live reflect the God I say I serve?

You don't need a platform to glorify God. You need a willing heart and a life that honors Him, one ordinary moment at a time. ❤️

🌟 OCTOBER VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH — PATTY BOZZELLI! 🌟

If you’ve been around Green Bay First for any amount of time, chances are you know Patty Bozzelli. She has been faithfully serving our church for years, and one thing has always been clear—Patty has a heart for kids.

Patty teaches our Elementary Class on Sundays and Wednesdays, and she also serves as a co-captain on one of our bus routes, helping make sure kids have the opportunity to be here and be a part of what God is doing.

But her service doesn’t stop with our kids’ ministry. Patty has consistently helped with our Women’s Breakfasts and recently joined our Women’s Ministry Team, continuing to invest in and encourage the women of our church.

And outside of Green Bay First, Patty spends her days serving kids as a 2nd grade teacher. Her commitment to children—both inside and outside the church—is truly something to admire.

And perhaps the best part of all? The kids noticed. ❤️

When nominations were collected, even some of our kids took the time to vote for Patty.

One child said, “Patty is so easy to talk to.”

Another simply said, “She has a heart for our kids.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Patty, thank you for showing up, loving kids, teaching, encouraging, serving, and making yourself available week after week. Your investment in the next generation is making a difference—and they see it!

We pray for the open door. The answer. The breakthrough. And when it doesn't come on our timeline, we start wondering if we've missed something.

But waiting isn't always wasted time.

Abraham waited for a promise. Joseph spent years in circumstances he never would have chosen. David was anointed king long before he wore the crown.

God's timing didn't look like theirs expected it to. And the waiting was part of their story.

We won't always know why God allows a season to last longer than we'd like. Not every delay means something better is around the corner. But we can trust that God is still at work, even when we can't see the outcome.

Don't let the waiting make you miss what God is teaching you along the way.

The answer matters. But so does who you're becoming while you wait. ❤️

Where does your confidence come from?

Psalm 20:7 reminds us that some trust in chariots and horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Today, our “chariots and horses” might look a little different.

A healthy bank account.
A secure job.
The right connections.
A carefully laid plan.

There's nothing wrong with being prepared. But there's a difference between using what you have and trusting it to save you. What happens when the thing you depend on isn't enough?

That's where faith gets real. Our security was never meant to rest in what we can control, but in the God who holds us steady when we can't.

Make wise plans. Work hard. Be responsible.

Just remember who your confidence belongs to. ❤️
