Let's make it a safe and fun Halloween in the neighborhood for all those trick-or-treaters! 🚸🎃👻🍬

Trick-or-treating in the City of Green Bay will take place on Saturday, October 31, from 4PM to 7PM.

A few reminders to help everyone have a safe and happy evening.

Trick-or-treaters should carry a flashlight or glow stick, wear light-colored or reflective costumes, and stay on sidewalks. Cross at corners and crosswalks, and look both ways first. Younger children should be accompanied by an adult, and older children should go out in a group.

Drivers should slow down in neighborhoods, put the phone away, and turn on headlights early. Watch for children between parked cars and near driveways, and take extra care when backing out.

It's Good Neighbor Week Green Bay! Volunteers will be in our neighborhood later today to perform a home maintenance project for one of our neighbors. Another project was completed earlier this month.

To everyone who is volunteering their time for the benefit of people living in Fisk Addition Neighborhood, thank you! We are so grateful for your commitment to being a good neighbor, and we are also grateful to NeighborWorks Green Bay and Green Bay Neighborhoods for making these projects possible.

Good Neighbor Week has officially kicked off — and this week, volunteers are fanning out across the city to lend a hand on 11 projects for neighbors who needed one.
Yards, paint, gutters, repairs — a few hours from a lot of good people adds up to a whole neighborhood that feels a little more like home. Every project is completely cost-free — lifting the financial burden so a family can focus on peace of mind — made possible by our sponsors and volunteers.

Be sure to place any bulk household items you want collected to the curb on your next regular trash day!

Attention Green Bay residents: Bulk Household Item Collection is scheduled for next week, September 21 through September 25, 2026.

Our Operations Division crews will collect up to two cubic yards (6 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet) of bulk items per household at no extra charge. Place your items directly next to your trash cart by 6:00 AM on your regular collection day.

Accepted items include furniture, mattresses, box springs, desks, tables, grills, mowers, bikes, and patio items.

Prohibited items for curbside pickup include:
- Construction, remodeling, or demolition waste
- Electronics
- Appliances
- Move-out debris

Any excess volume beyond two cubic yards or prohibited materials left at the curb will be picked up and charged accordingly.

If you miss curbside pickup, residents with valid proof of residency may utilize our drop-off sites at 1820 Mills Street (East Side) or 519 S. Oneida Street (West Side). Construction materials may be taken directly to the Brown County Transfer Station.

We are grateful to state Senator Jamie Wall for joining us to host a special listening session on the issues impacting our neighborhood. It was a great conversation that spanned everything from housing and transportation to social media, mental health, the rapid rise of AI technology, and community safety.

If there are issues you’d like the Neighborhood Association to explore further at a future meeting, drop a comment and we’ll consider it for our next monthly meet-up on October 12 at the French House of Clay!

Let's get excited for tonight's game! 📣🏈

We are excited to take on Oshkosh North during tonight's special Varsity Green Bay West Football Game at 7:00 pm. This will be a game that's about more than football. In honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and recognize the men and women who continue to serve our communities and our country. We are especially proud to join with the Wisconsin National Guard for this meaningful evening—a reminder of the courage, service, sacrifice, and unity that define the very best of our nation.

🚨🚗 Neighborhood Safety Update🚨🚗

The west side Community Policing Division has alerted us to a recent increase in stolen vehicles in the Adam District, west of Oneida and Gray Street.

There have been at least eight vehicle thefts in August, and in all eight cases, the vehicles were left unlocked with the keys inside. These thefts have occurred during both the day and night.

Please remember to secure all vehicles and leave on exterior house lights. And, most importantly, if you see something that doesn’t look right, please REPORT IT to police. Speaking up could help prevent a theft or protect a neighbor’s home or property.
