Since 1999, the WPC has been examining challenging concepts of privilege & oppression and offering solutions and team building strategies to work toward a more equitable world. WPC is committed to a philosophy of “understanding, respecting and connecting.” Annually, more than 1,500 attend from more than 35 states, Australia, Bermuda, Canada, and Germany.

Check-In and Check-Up,
with Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr. - Leader, WPC Founder & Program Director

was held in Hartford CT, March 26-29, attended by over 500 people from across the country. The audience was diverse (race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, age, etc.)
Attenders were inspired by four awesome keynote speakers: and Eddie Moore, Jr. - Leader. The Youth Summit brought together high school youth for a facilitated program. Attenders were challenged by workshops and danced to the salsa band at a sock hop, while raising funds and collecting socks for a local charity. WE COULD NOT DO IT WITHOUT THE PEOPLE! Hundreds of volunteers made this conference possible.

The Privilege Institute and CSWAC are collaborating on this program. We invite everyone, whether or not you attended, to join us for a debrief and next steps. Share your questions about the conference, your highlights and takeaways from , your experience at past conferences, and especially your anti-racist vision and plans going forward. WE WANT THE PEOPLE TO FUEL THE PROGRESS!
