We are the Langlade Elementary PTO, a volunteer run non-profit organization helping support the students and staff of Langlade Elementary School. This page is to connect the staff, families and friends of the school and share what we are up to as a PTO.

Kids going into grades 1-6 have an amazing opportunity to get a FREE BOOK at Barnes & Noble this summer! ☀️🌻📖📚

All you have to do is stop in Barnes & Noble, pick up a reading journal with all of the details and start your summer reading!

The Green Bay Barnes & Noble will have a summer Reading Party on June 21st at 2pm.

Starting in July, readers who have read 8 books will redeem their completed journal for a FREE BOOK!

Langlade’s Little Free Library continues to stay stocked with kid’s books for all ages from board book thru chapter books. Stop by if your kids are looking for something new to read!!

I have been working with the facilities department at the school district and the library is approved to stay until the end of the school year at Langlade and will move to Doty! The weekend after school is done, our family will go and remove the library to bring it home and touch up any paint. We will be in touch with facilities this summer and once we get the ok we can go and install it at Doty. The plan is to have it in the front of the school once construction is complete and installed before the open house in August, if not sooner!

We stopped by this morning to add more books and we will be keeping it fully stocked until we have to remove it when the school year is done.

We love seeing all of the excitement when the kids stop to see what is new in the library!

Please take a look around your house today to see if your child has any overdue library books at home! Slips went home last week and the library had 130 overdue books that still need to be turned in. Do a scavenger hunt around your house/car to see if you can help find any school library books. Send them back asap to help get things wrapped up in the Langlade Library.
We will be doing inventory this week in the Langlade library and getting the books ready to send over to Doty!

We want students to still continue to read even though they are no longer able to check books out from the library. Visit Langlade’s Little Free library outside the front entrance - we keep it stocked with books for the kids to enjoy!

*Any books that students came home with that were weeded out of the library have the library barcode blacked out and stamped withdrawn inside. Those books the students can keep and do not need to be returned. The books that were weeded from the library included damaged books or older publications.

The PTO provided popcorn free of charge for all staff and students once a month all school year. We hope everyone enjoyed it.

Doty currently does not have a PTO ~ please help continue our great Langlade PTO next school year. We want to see all of the great things continue at Doty. Several of us on the board have kids going onto middle school but are happy to help transition roles to ensure the successful PTO continues. Please reach out and let us know if you can help! 💙💛🍿

Our last PTO meeting will be tomorrow at 6 pm, in-person at the school. 😌

The Langlade PTO has been one of the best! Years and years of dedication between Parents and Teachers! It makes a difference! If you are heading to Doty and want to help start a PTO or want more information, please stop by tomorrow and see us!

Informal Meet And Greet With The Lombardi Admin Team

On May 13th, the Lombardi Admin Team would like to invite incoming 6th grade students and their families, in order to briefly introduce themselves, and provide a quick tour of Lombardi. The event will begin at 5:00 PM, and should conclude at 5:45 PM. No RSVP is needed, and if you have any questions, please contact the Lombardi Main Office at 920-492-2665. 📚 Today we celebrated Day 4 of Staff Appreciation Week at Langlade.
Inspired by “The Couch Potato”, we hosted a Baked Potato Bar! The staff enjoyed, baked potatoes with toppings, salad, rolls with cinnamon butter, brownies, bundt cakes, lemonade and iced tea!

The entire meal was donated by: Texas Roadhouse, Chick-Fil-A Bellevue, Nothing Bundt Cakes and The Langlade PTO.

Thank you Langlade staff for taking such great care of our Tator Tots! 🥔💙💛🦁
