This school year is off to a great start! Recently, we had an amazing visit from the Rooted In Inc. Nonprofit where they presented to our Plant Science students and FFA members. They shared their mission of providing fresh and healthy food to the Green Bay people in need. We then worked in the garden pulling weeds, harvesting 8lbs of tomatoes, and planning for future volunteer events. Thank you Rooted In Inc.! We look forward to our future events with y'all!

Sorry, no photo of the Sunday Spotlight post today, but here it is! Today's spotlight is Anthony Agueda, the winner of the 2022 National FFA Dairy Proficiency. He is attending college for agriculture business and a third-generation dairy farmer. He attributes most of his success to his involvement in FFA. He is an alumnus of the Hughson FFA chapter.

Also, this will be our last post for the school year! Thank you to everyone who has helped out our FFA throughout the year and supported us. We hope you have an amazing summer!

Sorry, no photo today, but here is your Way Back Wednesday! In 1948, a record amount of new members, 22,031, joined FFA from 1947-1948. With this,10,000 members attended the 20th National FFA Convention, which was so many that in the basement of the Municipal Auditorium, a folding-cot hotel was set up.
