Due to the continued snowfall over the last couple of days and the potential for icy road conditions later this evening, we’ve decided to cancel tonight’s Toastmasters meeting.

Because our club meets later in the day, we want to prioritize everyone’s safety getting to and from the meeting.

We are proud of our Greeley Toastmasters crew today!

Rigo Rangel took 1st Place in Table Topics at the N-3/N-4 Area Contest.

Melissa Beavers earned 2nd Place in the International Speech Contest.

Two competitors. Two podium finishes. That is not luck. That is preparation meeting opportunity.

Public speaking is a skill. Confidence is trained. Thinking on your feet is practiced. What you saw today on that stage was growth in action.

Salud! Toastmasters started with a simple idea: create a welcoming space in Greeley where people from all walks of life can grow their confidence, communication, and leadership together. Seeing that story shared in print is a meaningful milestone for our club.

We’re incredibly grateful for our founding members, executive team, and everyone who has shown up with courage and curiosity. This recognition belongs to all of you.

What began as an idea, weathered an unforgettable hailstorm at our very first meeting, and grew through commitment and courage is now officially chartered. This is the founding of something lasting in Greeley.

We’re grateful for our club members who stepped up early, our founding leaders who believed before there was proof, and the Toastmasters dignitaries who joined us to mark the moment. Your presence mattered.

Salud! Toastmasters is about growth, communication, leadership, and building confidence in a supportive, human way. This charter is not an ending. It’s a starting line.

This afternoon we celebrate something special.

Salud! Toastmasters is officially chartering today, right here in Greeley. What began with our very first meeting, pictured here, has grown into a real club, real members, and a real legacy in the making.

Founders, guests, and friends of growth are invited to join us for the charter party this afternoon at LINC Library. Come meet the people who showed up at the beginning and helped turn an idea into a community.
