Amazing team partners walking with domestic violence & trafficking survivors in their hardest times. And on a side note- damn bright young women helping us all believe in the strength of future leadership

As National Crime Victims' Rights Week comes to a close, we want to shine a light on our Victim Services Unit. While our officers work to investigate crimes, our advocates work to care for the people affected by them.

Justice is about more than just an arrest; it’s about healing. Our Victim Services advocates are the calm in the storm for many in our community.

From navigating the legal system to finding emergency resources and emotional support, these dedicated professionals ensure that no one has to walk the path to recovery alone. They don't often seek the spotlight, but they are there in the early hours of the morning and the late hours of the night, providing a voice for those who feel unheard.

We are proud of the compassion and integrity these ladies bring to our department every day. To our advocates: thank you for your patience, your empathy, and your unwavering commitment to Greeley and the surrounding community.

Last week, we were honored to host an open house to celebrate the newly renovated Victim Services Unit interview rooms. These transformations were made possible through the incredible generosity of the Zonta Club of Greeley and Alpha Delta Kappa.

These rooms are more than just four walls—they are designed to provide safety, comfort, and dignity for victims during some of their most difficult moments. We are so grateful for these changemakers who stepped up to help us better serve our community.

Thank you, Zonta Club and Alpha Delta Kappa, for your compassion and for helping us create a soft place to land.

Valued partnership with our local police department- led by amazing (all female) Advocates! Adult & (adjoining) child’s ‘soft interview rooms’ that are there for domestic violence & trafficking victims & their kids. The plaque says it all!
Important acknowledgement - We & GPD Advocates who planned this room VERY respectfully received guidance & ideas from Project Beloved, based out of Ft Worth TX. Though this project was beyond what they could do, their hard-won expertise they share both about their work (publicized on documentaries) and understanding are the gold standard for compassion.
Our point? Zonta Clubs - look for exceptional projects in your area with matching goals - and work with them as you can, learn from them always. We all want to end all forms of violence against women & girls. May these two Beloved daughters memories live through others' dignified and caring treatment.

Zonta sisters, local community partners..a valuable opportunity to learn & advocate about human trafficking in our communities!

Human Trafficking is our Advocacy focus. Our exceptional speaker, Dr Philip Reichel has international credentials including NGO Representative to the United Nations. In addition to broader understanding, Dr Reichel can relate law enforcement to community-based action.

Today I watched some survivor/leaders present a master-class to law enforcement and other advocates- understanding and positive engagement when working with human trafficking survivors. THIS is where Zontians can fit in. We have the expertise, time, resources to connect these critically important groups in fighting this scourge in our communities.
Join us in Greeley for our Area meeting 3/27-3/28. We will be sharing some of these ideas with Z leaders.
