God says:
“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer.”

I say:
“God, I’m afraid of what is coming. I don’t know if I’m strong enough to go through it.”

God says:
“Behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation.”

I say:
“God, why do I have to be tested? Why can’t You just take this away from me?”

God says:
“Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”

I say:
“Then, God, help me remain faithful. Even when I don’t understand, help me trust You. Even when I’m afraid, help me keep walking with You.”
