We want to remind the GRCA community that impostor social media accounts and websites are attempting to mimic GRCA online in order to scam our followers and members by requesting donations, selling unauthorized GRCA merchandise, or sharing fraudulent URLs intended to steal your personal data.
Your safety and trust mean everything to us. Please stay alert and help protect yourself online with these tips:
✅ Check the username and account name on social media carefully. On Instagram, you can find us at .r.c.a and . On Facebook, you can find us at:

💻 Our social media accounts include our official logo, years' worth of consistent, high-quality posts, and links to grca.org for merchandise and donations.
❌ Scammers often use subtle changes, such as extra letters, symbols, punctuation, upper vs. lowercase letters, or slight misspellings.
✅ We will only use our website grca.org to sell merchandise or to receive donations. If you're directed to another website or asked to use Venmo or Zelle to make a donation, it's not GRCA.
⚠️ We will NEVER:
Ask for donations via direct messages on social media
Promote unofficial fundraisers or giveaways through new/duplicate social media accounts
Message you for personal or financial information
🔎 If you see a fake social media account or website:
Do not engage with it, follow, click on any links, download any files from them, or comment on their posts
If it's on social media, report it immediately to Facebook or Instagram
Let the GRCA Social Media Committee know so we can take action (screenshots are always appreciated)
