🎉🎓 Dream Team Alumni Spotlight: Ruby! 🎓🎉

We love seeing where life takes our Dream Team alumni, and Ruby is giving us plenty to celebrate! 🌟

After graduating from Early College Academy in 2024, Ruby went on to graduate from University of Northern Colorado, UNC in 2026. Now, she is taking her education even further by pursuing her doctorate at University of Colorado Denver! 📚👏

We are incredibly proud of Ruby and all that she has accomplished. Her hard work, ambition, and commitment to her education continue to inspire us. She has some big goals ahead, and we have no doubt she will keep working hard to achieve them! 💙

Support like this helps make sure our students have the tools they need to walk into the classroom prepared and ready to learn. We are incredibly grateful to have community partners who believe in our students and their futures. 💙

Every community leaves a legacy. 💙

For nearly 40 years, The Greeley Dream Team has seen what can happen when a community chooses to believe in its young people.

Students have worked toward graduation, pursued higher education, discovered new possibilities, and taken important steps toward their futures. Behind those moments are families, educators, Board members, mentors, and supporters who have helped create opportunities along the way.

The question isn’t whether we shape the future. It’s how.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing a larger conversation about the future of our students, the future of our community, and the role each of us can play in helping young people succeed.

Because the legacy we leave is shaped by the opportunities we choose to create today. ✨

Next up, meet Riley! 👋

🌟 Get to know Riley:
I have been an advisor with Dream Team for two years at Greeley West and Chappelow. I went to University of Northern Colorado where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in health sciences. In my free time, I enjoy reading, knitting, painting, hiking, and spending time with my cats. I also work part-time for a local bakery on weekends. This year, I'm excited for all of our field trips.

A new school year brings new opportunities, new challenges, and LOTS of exciting moments to celebrate. We’re lucky to have a team that shows up ready to support students and families through all of it!

🎉 The Dream Team is BACK, and it’s time to reintroduce you to the incredible people behind the work we do! 💙

Throughout our staff welcome back series, we’ll be highlighting the people who spend their days encouraging students, celebrating their successes, helping them navigate challenges, and probably drinking a little too much coffee along the way. ☕😄

Who better to kick things off than our Executive Director, Miranda!

✨ Get to know Miranda:
Miranda has been with The Greeley Dream Team for 7.5 years and has had the privilege of serving as Executive Director for the past two. She earned her master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Denver and her Bachelors from the University of Northern Colorado. Outside of Dream Team, you can usually find her spending time with her son (loudest soccer mom on the field, can't miss her ;)), family and friends, traveling whenever she gets the chance, or finding her next fun adventure. This year, she’s excited to keep dreaming big, strengthening connections across the community, and finding new ways to make sure students have people in their corner cheering them on.

We’re excited for another year of working alongside our students, families, schools, and community. Help us give Miranda a big welcome back! 👏🎉

It’s back to school season, so this month’s nonprofit for Bagels Give Back is The Greeley Dream Team. Since 1987, they have been helping D6 students graduate High School and attend college. Swing by Saturday’s Farmers Market to support a great cause and have some great bagels!

🍂🎉 Family fun, games, prizes, food, and Dream Team? Sounds like a pretty great Saturday to us!

Dream Team will be at the Northern Colorado Credit Union Fall Family Festival on September 19 from 11 AM to 2 PM, and we would love for you and the whole family to join us! 💙🙌

There will be plenty to keep everyone busy, including performances 🎤, games 🎯, prizes 🏆, a food truck 🍔, a bounce house 🎈, and so much more!

🔎 NEW this year: the Stamp Scavenger Hunt! Visit booths throughout the festival, meet some incredible community partners, and collect stamps as you go. Once you complete your card, stop by the NCCU tent to pick up a prize bag! 🎁✨

Some things are worth carrying forward.

For nearly 40 years, The Greeley Dream Team has been part of a community that believes opportunity can change the course of a young person’s life. 💙

Generations of students have walked through our doors with dreams for what could come next. Along the way, families, educators, Board members, and community supporters have encouraged them, celebrated their accomplishments, and helped make those dreams possible.

As we reflect on nearly four decades of opportunity, we’re also thinking about the students who haven’t walked through our doors yet.

Nearly 40 years of opportunity. The next generation is waiting.
