✨ Introducing Giulia! ✨

We are thrilled to welcome Giulia Faria as a guest artist for Colorado Dance Theatre’s The Nutcracker! 🩰✨

Originally from Queens, New York, Giulia received much of her training at the New York Theatre Ballet School and LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts. She went on to join New York Theatre Ballet in 2015, performing works by legendary choreographers including Merce Cunningham, José Limón, Jerome Robbins, Antony Tudor, and Frederick Ashton, as well as contemporary works by Pam Tanowitz, Gabrielle Lamb, and Richard Alston.

During her time with the company, Giulia also performed title roles in Cinderella and The Firebird. Since leaving New York Theatre Ballet as a dancer, she served as Interim Artistic Director during the Fall/Winter 2024 season and continues to perform with choreographers and artists including Ellen Cornfield, Amanda Treiber, and Julian Donahue.

We are so excited to have Giulia joining us onstage this December and can’t wait for our dancers and audiences to experience her artistry! ❤️

✨ Welcome to Colorado Dance Theatre, Giulia! ✨
