⚜️ Pack 5 is back! ⚜️

We had a great turnout for our first Pack meeting of the year! It was awesome to see everyone back together and to welcome many new Scouts and families to the Pack!

Our Scouts were busy this summer, especially out at camp, where they earned a TON of adventures and awards. We kicked off the new year with a potluck, recognized all of their hard work, welcomed our newest Scouts, and got everyone excited for another great year of Scouting!

🍿 We also officially kicked off our 2026 Popcorn Sale! If anyone is interested in purchasing some popcorn and supporting Scouting, just let us know — we know a few Scouts who would be VERY happy to help you out! 😄

And if you have a child who might be interested in joining Cub Scouts, it’s definitely not too late! We have a fun year ahead of us and would love to welcome even more families. Send us a message and we’ll help you get started!

Here’s to another great year of Scouting! 🏕️🔥🍿⚜️

Pack 5 had a great time at the Peosta Days Parade today! 🇺🇸⚜️

Our Scouts enjoyed walking in the parade, handing out candy, and sharing information about our upcoming Pack 5 Join Night!

After a little questionable weather earlier in the day, the skies cleared just in time and gave us a beautiful afternoon for the parade. The kids had a blast, and it was great seeing so many familiar faces along the route!

A big thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Peosta community today. We hope to see some new faces at our upcoming Join Night!

Interested in Cub Scouts? Come check out Pack 5 and see what we’re all about! ⚜️🏕️🎣🥾

This weekend, a great group of our younger Scouts headed to Camp Klaus—many of them experiencing Scout camp for the very first time!

The weather couldn’t have been better, making it the perfect weekend to explore the outdoors, make new friends, and try new things. The Scouts tested their skills with archery and BB guns, got creative with crafts, and wrapped up the evening around a campfire enjoying s’mores before gazing up at a sky full of stars.

For many, it was their first taste of camping with Scouts, and judging by the smiles and excitement all weekend long, it certainly won’t be their last. We’re proud of each Scout for stepping outside their comfort zone, trying something new, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

We can’t wait for the next adventure!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted, but our Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts have been busy out at camp!

This past week, they spent several days at Camp Klaus, and despite the heat, they had an incredible time. From hiking, rock climbing, BB guns, and slingshots to games, nature activities, and so much more, the Scouts embraced every opportunity for adventure.

More importantly, they challenged themselves, built confidence, strengthened friendships, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to all of our leaders, volunteers, and parents who helped make this experience possible. We are incredibly proud of how our Scouts represented Pack 5 throughout the week.

Here’s to a great start to our Webelos and Arrow of Light year—we can’t wait for all the adventures still to come! ⚜️🏕️
