We’re so excited to welcome our amazing teachers back and kick off a brand-new school year!

We set up a Grab & Go Snack Bar to give our teachers a little pick-me-up as they prepare for another great year.

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful GKES families for donating all the goodies and helping us make our teachers feel welcomed and appreciated! 💚💛

SMCPS Open House events will be held at our schools on Monday, August 24, 2026.

Schedules are now available for all schools, so families can plan ahead and get ready for the start of the 2026–2027 school year.
