Argo Pride!
Last but not least, serving as Student Government Athletics Ambassador for 2025 - 2026 is Ashley Mitchell.π΅π’
"When I began searching for a college to transfer from my community college, I knew I wanted a place where I felt supported both academically and personally, especially as a student-athlete. After attending a large school in Seattle where it was easy to feel lost, I was drawn to the University of Providence for its close-knit campus, strong paralegal program, and location close to home.
From the start, UP felt different. The small campus made it easier to balance academics, athletics, and leadership. Professors know me by name and understand the demands of being a student-athlete, which has made a huge difference in my success. The paralegal program has challenged me in the best ways through hands-on learning and real-world legal applications, and my professors have been mentors who genuinely care about my future.
Beyond the classroom and athletics, Iβve had the opportunity to serve in student government as the Athletic Ambassador. This role has allowed me to advocate for student-athletes, strengthen communication between athletics and campus leadership, and give back to a community that has supported me from day one.
UP has helped me grow in confidence, leadership, and balance. Choosing the University of Providence was one of the best decisions Iβve made. Itβs more than a college; itβs a community where you are known, supported, and encouraged to become your best self."
Thank you for shaping the UP experience!β¨
