At the Independence Rock Coalition, we believe in building bridges, not barriers. IRC will bring local and regional voices to the public stage alongside academics, writers, artists, and public figures from outside the

region. The nonprofit seeks to foster dialogue from a broad spectrum of political, philosophical, and unconventional voices on issues.

I saw this in a post this morning about the stigmatization of harm reduction, and this was a spot on answer….

“If love were easy, Jesus would not have been crucified. Even then, the structural and political forces of the time shielded the powerful and demonized the marginalized. This remains humanity’s greatest weakness: it is easier to hate than to love. True love demands strength—a relentless willingness to persevere against overwhelming odds and to choose compassion over fear, even when the world offers every excuse not to.”
