Arts Association of Montana

Arts Association of Montana AAM promotes appreciation, awareness & enthusiasm for all art forms in the State of Montana. The Arts Association of Montana is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Permanently closed.

The Arts Association of Montana is a dynamic group of individuals, from beginner to professional artists, who enjoy getting together to share, support, learn and grow. Formerly the Great Falls Arts Association, AAM recently assumed the Montana Institute of the Arts status. Both organizations have had a role in the arts community around the state from the 1940s. AAM is pleased to continue the rich

heritage of both. Enriching the community through the arts is one goal of AAM. AAM sponsors three senior high school students with the Val Knight scholarships. Workshops are offered to the public, encouraging others to grow through education. Other AAM activities include plein air outings, day trips and workshops.

Hi all!
It’s wonderful to see people are visiting here. Unfortunately AAM disbanded in October 2024. Our membership was aging out and dwindled to 20, with few participating in planned activities. It was decided to end this chapter of AAM.

The hope of the AAM board is that a new generation of artists will revive the art guild and carry on its 70+ years’ mission - to encourage, inspire and support all arts, especially for our youth.

Thank you for your support for AAM through the years!

Artfully yours,
Jean Mazur
Past president
