JUST A LITTLE THANKS FOR A GREAT 2013!
Thank you so much for your support of Capstone Community Inc. The support of people like you is encouraging for me because it means that the body of Christ here in Great Falls is working together to serve God. I know for me personally all of you have been such an encouragement and blessing in my life. God designed his Church to work together, and through his power alone that is taking place in Great Falls.
God provided so many opportunities to serve him this past year. We were able to grow in many different areas. One way that God used us was to share our testimonies and struggles with individuals to encourage them to keep going and grow closer to God. We also were able to take on more home and community improvement projects around Great Falls.
A very important part of the Capstone ministry is being open to hear God and any new directions he wants us to take. This past few years one of those areas was a free skateboard and bike competition at the Great Falls Railyard. We wanted to put on a totally free competition to serve the community and use the opportunity to also give lots of free gear to the young people of our city. God blessed that day and we have been able to give out skateboards, backpacks, helmets, lots of shirts and sweatshirts along with a couple hundred skate dvd’s that share the gospel and new testament bibles. God also provided the means to serve all 40+ competitors breakfast and all 250+ people that showed lunch.
Please continue to be in prayer for Capstone and all those of us involved. One of the most valuable lessons I have ever learned is the power of prayer. I would like prayer support so that I can be open to see these new opportunities and serve God in them.
I am still fully committed in working towards being able to do Capstone on a more full time basis. This will require more support both financially and in prayer. I know God has used the past years to teach me patience and wisdom as well as honing my construction skills. God has also brought me into more relationships with people and organizations that are a blessing to the ministry.
