Sweetgrass Development is a private, non-profit corporation created in 2004 to support economic development in the counties of Glacier, Cascade, Pondera, Teton and Toole, as well as the Blackfeet and Little Shell Tribes. We are a diverse area that includes a large metropolitan area, many small towns, rural farming areas, several Hutterite Colonies and the Blackfeet Reservation. A eighteen member B

oard of Directors governs Sweetgrass Development. The Board is comprised of community leaders who are elected or appointed officials as well as business owners and representatives of the communities.

The Sweetgrass Development Board of Directors will be hosting their annual meeting on Friday, May 2nd, at The Griddle, 311 Main Street in Shelby, Montana. Lunch will be ordered at 11:30 and the meeting shall begin at noon. An overview of the past year’s activities, current scope of work, election of officers and Brownfields program presentation is on the agenda. We look forward to a review of the past year and an update of the exciting things happening within the region, and goals moving forward. Please join us!
