According to the Montana Department of Justice, right now there are 57 children missing in the state of Montana. 7 of those children are from Cascade County.
Missing Child Monday is a collaborative project between CASA-CAN and the North Central Montana Human Trafficking and MMIP task force. The goal of this project will be to raise awareness of these missing children in hopes that they will be found. MICHIGAN - When Michigan State Police pulled over a Dodge Charger for speeding, the girl driving it didn’t have any ID and gave them a false name. After investigating further, officials identified her as a missing 15-year-old from Jackson County.

The girl told police she believed she was pregnant and, after taking her to a hospital for examination and learning more details, believe the girl was trafficked in Detroit.

Update: AMBER alert canceled for 15 year old Dana Lee Johnston. She has been located and deemed safe.

The Montana Department of Justice has issued an AMBER Alert for 15-year old Dana Lee Johnston.

The update says that Dana was abducted in Wolf Point, and that the pickup truck has Montana license plate CEY619.

Hello Everyone!

With our children and young adults going back to school Operation Underground Railroad would like to tell you about our Students Against Trafficking program!

Student’s Against Trafficking is a replicable student club program to help student’s get involved in the fighting against human trafficking at their school! The program focuses on providing students the tools and support to fight human trafficking through awareness, leadership, and community building skills within the student’s school community and greater local community.

If you are a student interested in bringing awareness, educating, and advocating for anti-human trafficking efforts at your school we want to hear from you!

We have a Students Against Trafficking Kick Off Meeting September 13th at 6-7 PM MST for returning student leaders and interested student leaders that want to start a club at their school.

If you are a parent, guardian, or know of a school age student that would be interested in becoming the leader of a Students Against Trafficking Club at their school please forward this email to them. Our clubs are student-led, meaning a student needs to inquire with us to initially create a club and maintain it. We work with the student and club advisor at the school directly. We help support clubs within the guidelines of the school they attended. We want to empower our youth in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation!

OHIO - Malikai Willis met the 16-year-old girl he later trafficked for s*x in March 2019 through an online dating website. Willis, now 25, would pick her up from school or her parents’ home, and “they would remain together for several days.”

Willis used the messaging app Whisper to arrange for the girl to engage in s*x acts with men. One paid $800 to have s*x with her, documents say.
