SUPPORT THAT GOES BEYOND THE FUNDRAISER. ⭐️

Our annual raffle may be behind us, but there are ways to support the Sheriff’s Legacy Foundation all year long.

One of them might already be on your vehicle!

Montana's Support Your Local Sheriff specialty license plate helps generate funding for the Foundation, with a portion of the proceeds from every plate sold supporting our work.

Those funds help us provide resources and support that benefit the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office and the community it serves.

It's a simple way to show your support every time you hit the road.

And a pretty great-looking license plate, if we do say so ourselves. ⭐️

YOUR SUPPORT AT WORK | BEYOND THE BUDGET ⭐️

What happens when the Cascade County Sheriff's Office needs equipment, resources or support that isn't covered by its regular budget?

That's where the Sheriff's Legacy Foundation can make a difference.

Since 2019, the Foundation has helped support needs that go beyond traditional department funding, including:

• School safety equipment and initiatives
• Specialized lighting and operational equipment
• Human trafficking prevention materials
• Resources for unexpected needs and emergencies

Our mission is simple: help bridge the gap between what's needed and what's available, providing additional resources that support the men and women serving Cascade County.

And none of it happens without the generosity of our community.

Because your support doesn't just fund projects. It helps meet needs that might otherwise go unmet. ⭐️

MEET THE BOARD | Undersheriff Scott Van Dyken, Director

Undersheriff Scott Van Dyken serves as a Director on the Sheriff’s Legacy Foundation Board, bringing an important law enforcement perspective to the work of the Foundation.

His involvement helps maintain a strong connection between the Foundation and the Sheriff’s Office and gives our board valuable insight into where our support can make a meaningful difference.

We’re grateful for his leadership, perspective and service to our community. ⭐️

SHOW US YOUR CASCADE COUNTY! ⭐️

There's something pretty special about the place we call home.

From wide-open landscapes and winding back roads to sunsets, small towns and those little hidden gems only the locals know about, Cascade County looks a little different through everyone's eyes.

And we'd love to see it through yours!

Drop one of your favorite photos from around Cascade County in the comments below. 📸

With your permission, we'd love to feature some of your photos in future Sheriff’s Legacy Foundation posts, with photo credit to you, of course!

MEET THE BOARD | Linda Mettam, Director

Linda serves as a Director on the Sheriff’s Legacy Foundation Board, giving her time in service to our Foundation and the community we call home.

Our work is possible because of volunteers who believe that supporting local law enforcement and strengthening community relationships matter — and who are willing to help turn that belief into action.

We’re proud to have Linda serving alongside us. 💛
