Barton County Academy is a high school diploma based organization that offers a skills based high school completion program at no cost to the student. The program benefits include:
-High School Diploma
-Curriculum that aligns with individual career choice
-Computerized coursework allows you to advance at your own pace
-Flexible hours allow you to attend with your own sche

-Instructors to aid and advise as needed
-No student fees-only your TIME and EFFORT
-Instruction available at the center or virtually for distance learners
-Supervised children's room available at no cost to students

Congratulations class of 2026!

Twenty-seven students earning high school diplomas were honored Tuesday at the Barton County Academy graduation ceremony. These non-traditional students were sponsored by area school districts in Great Bend, Ellinwood and Hoisington.

We celebrated 27 graduates last night. Congratulations to all!

Dear Students, Families, and Community Members,

We want to share an important update regarding our learning centers.

Due to funding changes , some learning center locations across the state will be closing at the end of this school year.

We are grateful to share that Barton County Academy will remain open.

Our center will continue serving:

Teen students working toward high school graduation, and

Adult learners who meet eligibility requirements for the Adult Virtual High School Diploma program.

and

Adult ESL Classes

For the 2026–2027 school year, students participating in the Adult Virtual program must be 20 years old on or before September 20, 2026 in order to be eligible.

Please know that our commitment to students remains strong. We are here to support each learner in finding the best path forward.
