Happy Wednesday Cougar family!

Our campus is constantly growing, so in turn our Supply Den becomes more and more of a necessity. We wanted to give an extra thanks to Pfizer for linking up with us and providing funds that supported our Den throughout the last semester. We are always being reminded of their generosity in the form of students’ success.

We’re so grateful for being awarded $70,000 through a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Education and the Kansas Board of Regents! The fund will be used to purchase food and personal care items for our Cougar Supply Den. All the items are free for students on Great Bend campus at Barton Community College💙💛💙💛. Thanks for the support, everybody. We hope you all have an awesome holiday!

Over the years, Barton Community College has been working with donors and organizations to provide food and personal hygiene products to students at no cost. Since we started, the supply den has given away over 20,000 lbs of food and served over 3,000 students. We are proud to be here and are glad to serve our students and community💛💙!

The world always looks brighter from behind a smile! A big thank you to Delta Dental of Kansas for their generous donation of 600 smile kits😄. Each kit contains toothpaste, a toothbrush, and floss. Look at that bright smile, y'all😉.

This holiday season, you can help us continue making the change by choosing us on your employee pledge card😉. If you give $10 a month, your total gift will be $120 for the year - and that is INCREDIBLE and what we call ! Together, we provide a better experience for Barton students!

You can start right here at Barton! Drop off extra food or product at our very own Barton Cougar Supply Den next time you are in the area. Or consider donating through the Barton Community College Foundation. 💙💛 Together, we're making this world a better place!

Food pantries in Kansas saw greater demand in 2021 than 2020, and the trend is only expected to continue with new state barriers.

The Barton Cougar Supply Den is a resource for all students located on the Barton County Campus inside of the Learning Resource Center. It provides food and personal hygiene products at no cost. Thank you to all of our generous donors!
