Erik (board president) and Keegan (dir. of operations and engagement) had the pleasure of chatting with Emily Haber, MACDC President & CEO, at the MACDC annual conference this past Wednesday.

“This annual conference is a great reminder that we can learn so much from each other,” says Keegan, "I feel inspired and energized by the people I met, the ideas that were shared, and the collective commitment to building a stronger and more vibrant community across Massachusetts!”

MACDC is the Massachusetts Association of Community Development Corporations, of which Impact South County is a member. MACDC acts as the capacity-building, policy, and advocacy arm for the community economic development movement across Massachusetts.

Big moves in Egremont! 🏗️

Prefabricated sections for our Workforce Ownership Housing Project were officially craned into place at 171 Egremont Plain Road this morning.

This pilot project creates two new duplex homes designed for local residents who live and work in the region. Each duplex features a 3-bedroom owner's unit alongside a 2-bedroom rental unit, providing local homeowners the opportunity to generate rental income while creating an additional home for a local family.

Kudos to the team for bringing us another step closer to completion! 🙌
