Berkshire Crafts Fair Proceeds benefit innovative initiatives and programs at Monument Mountain Regional H

The Berkshire Crafts Fair is a juried show of master artisans offering traditional and contemporary jewelry, furniture, ceramics, textiles, glassware, woodwork, and more. The Berkshire Crafts Fair is a fundraiser of School Center, Inc., A Non-Profit organizations supporting students at Monument Mountain Regional High School. Since its founding in 1974, the Berkshire Crafts Fair has earned a nation

al reputation as being a prime destination for connoisseurs of fine arts and crafts. The fair was named on the “Harris List of the Nation’s Best Arts and Crafts Shows” and honored by Sunshine Artist Arts and Crafts Fair Magazine with the “Sunshine Artist 200 Best Award.”

Over the past 40+ years, revenue from the Berkshire Crafts Fair has provided Monument Mountain Regional High School with a student center, over $75,000 in scholarships to graduates, funding for student and faculty initiated programs, air conditioning in the school auditorium and gymnasium, a new track and tennis courts, and assistance in the purchase of land for the site of the new Monument Valley Regional Middle School and Muddy Brook Regional Elementary School.

It is, yet again, with heavy hearts that the Directors of the Berkshire Crafts Fair have decided to cancel the 2021 Berkshire Crafts fair scheduled for August of 2021.
With the long term affects of the pandemic on our students and staff our school cannot afford the time, energy and use of the building for the fair. As you may imagine the job of educating has been challenging and unpredictable. Our primary goal for the summer is to prepare the best year possible for our students learning needs and our educational community. Flexibility in our planning is essential.

The directors hope that you are all hanging in there and weathering this storm. Please do consider us again in 2022 as we very much want to continue to serve you and be the best small high quality craft fair around.

Berkshire Crafts Fair is a not-for-profit event generating funds for scholarships and creative educational endeavors at our public high school. The fair showcases the work of over 90 artists, carefully selected by jury for the quality and variety of their offerings.
