It was a hot weekend in North Adams as both SBBR Teams played in the Tournament on Saturday & Sunday. A huge congrats to the St. Mary's team for winning the entire tournament. What an exciting weekend for Southern Berkshire Babe Ruth!

JB Hull had an exciting weekend playing Housy's Babe Ruth from Sharon, CT. On Saturday June 20th Housy traveled to Great Barrington where they where defeated by JB Hull 10-3. The MVPs of Game 12 where TJ C**n & John Gappa.

JB Hull has been busy cracking bats and stealing bases as we close in on the final games of the season. They took on St. Marys for game 10 on June 16th loosing to their league rival 1-6. TJ C**n and Tayin Blaisdell-Kirkpatrick won the chain.

Tayin headed in to game 11 at Dalton on June 17th winning himself the chain again with some great pitching on the mound.

Southern Berkshire Babe Ruth was represented at Double Day Field in Cooperstown, NY on Sunday June 14th! JB Hull & St.Marys battled it out in a scrimmage against each other at 5pm with JB Hull taking the win.

Each spring SBBR heads to Cooperstown to play in a fun game surrounded by baseball history. This is a game that all the players look forward too as it's a unique opportunity for everyone involved. Thank you to Luke Thayer for working hard to ensure our boys get this opportunity each year.

Game 7 vs. Dalton on June 11th was another win for JB Hull with a final score of 12-8. The games MVP went too both TJ C**n & John Gappa.

Game 8 vs. Zinky's Pub was on Saturday June 13th was another 12-2 game for JB Hull with TJ C**n Collecting the chain. JB Hull had a double header on the 13th earning TJ C**n & John Gappa the chain again for game 9 vs. East Coast Refinishing with a 10-0 win for Hull.

St. Marys MVPs from Sunday June 6th at Deming Park in Pittsfield.

Game One: St. Mary's battle hard against on the mound & at the plate but after a tough second inning they fell to RJ Stohr 14-4. The games MVP was Tyler Giardina who pitched 3 innings in relief.

Game Two: St. Marys took the lead at the top of the 4th inning after Pittsfield 2 committed an error but it wasn't enough to win them the game. St. Marys lost 3-4. Mason Bailey was the games MVP with five innings pitched, surrendering 6 hits & 4 runs, struck out 7 and walked none!

St. Marys welcomed Pittsfield 2 to their turf on Monday June 8th, winning that game 12-2! They play again today June 9th at home (Maple Street in Lee) against Dalton2 at 6pm.
