Congrats to all our Cub Scouts on an awesome Pinewood Derby (Feb. 2026)! 🏁 Great creativity, sportsmanship, and racing all around — you should all be proud of your hard work and fast cars! 🚗💨

Thank you Michele Bauman / Grayslake Exchange Club for being such a great MC at the Pinewood Derby! Your energy made the event fun and memorable for everyone.

Congratulations to all our AOL Scouts (Cookie Cats Patrol) for completing their Cub Scout Journey. And a special congrats to our scouts that have crossed over into Scouting America Troop 96 and Troop 1996! This is an exciting new adventure filled with leadership, friendship, camping, and unforgettable experiences. Congratulations to all our Scouts! We celebrated at their Rank Advancement Ceremony. Our Scouts worked hard throughout the year, building character, enjoying the outdoors, practicing leadership, and supporting our community. We are so proud of their accomplishments and hope they are excited to continue their scouting journey.

It was an honor to participate in the Color Guard at the Chicago Wolves Game! Our Webelos Scouts did an outstanding job as they walked onto the ice and sang the national anthem while presenting the flags. The game was thrilling, and the Scouts had a fantastic time cheering on the team while enjoying delicious snacks with our Pack Families. To top it all off, the Wolves won! 🏒🐺

Our Blue & Gold Banquet was a thrilling event, highlighted by an entertaining performance from Magic Dave! The Scout-themed show left everyone in awe, especially when a neckerchief was dramatically cut into pieces and then magically restored, bringing plenty of laughter and joy. A big thank you to all the scouts who contributed to our popcorn fundraiser, which made it possible to enjoy such fantastic entertainment at the banquet. 🪄

The skills you have gained through your years in scouting are truly impressive, and the Cub Scouts greatly benefited from your insights. We want to extend our gratitude to Grayslake Police Sergeant Guzman, Comfort dog Jake , and Officer Foy for joining Pack 96 as guest speakers at our March Pack and Den Meetings. This month, we focused on various aspects of safety in our lives, and we truly appreciate the valuable insights you shared. The interactive nature of your presentations made the meetings more engaging and impactful for our Cub Scouts. Thank you again!

Scouts ventured into the great outdoors at Nippersink Forest Preserve, where they practiced important adventure skills like "Leave No Trace", "The Six Essentials", and the "Buddy System." While enjoying the fresh air, they also had the chance to observe wildlife and explore the trails.

Pack 96 loves being part of our wonderful Grayslake Community. Our Scouts volunteered at the Exchange Club of Grayslake's Pancake Breakfast, where they helped by clearing tables and setting up new placemats and utensils. The Scouts also had fun dressing up as characters for the kids to take pictures with. Ranging from Kindergarten to 5th Grade, they all did an amazing job! We are incredibly proud of this fantastic group of Scouts!
