🌈 Happy Pride Month! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

At 103.5 KTU, we don’t wait until June to celebrate, support, and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. Love is love, and our commitment to inclusion, visibility, and acceptance is something we stand on 365 days a year.

Today we’re sending love to those who are still finding themselves, those who feel unseen, those who are celebrating for the first time, and those who continue to live their truth every day.

Everyone deserves to be seen. Everyone deserves to belong. Everyone deserves love.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ season 11 contender Honey Davenport has just been crowned Mr International Leather 2026.

The queen, whose real name is James Heath Clark, said of the win: “When I walked into the werk room of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’, I said my tag line. When I walked on the International Mr. Leather stage, I spoke my truth.”

Speaking on the podcast ‘Dads and Daddies’, Honey shared their leather origins. “I was involved actively in k*nk and f*tish scenes but not in its community. And then I moved to Palm Springs,” they said.

“I met some of the most incredible people in the Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert, who actively work every day to cultivate change in our community in a way that I’ve never witnessed before,” Honey continued.

“Leather is drag to me, drag is a kink as well. I found that all of the pieces of myself kind of came together in these last couple of years that I’ve lived in Palm Springs.”

A group of HIV-positive q***r couples staged a powerful ‘Kiss-In’ protest at the US-Mexico border to mark World AIDS Day on 1 December.

MPact Global Action for Gay Men’s Health and Rights organised its third annual Besoton Sidoso Internacional, or the International HIV Kiss-In, with the aim of tackling the stigma surrounding HIV and uplifting people living with the disease.

The protest also served as a powerful message of solidarity to LGBTQ+ migrants currently facing persecution from the Trump administration and its crackdown on immigration.

Speaking to The Advocate, MPact executive director Andrew Spieldenner said: "As of one of the only openly HIV-positive Executive Directors of a global organization, I am inspired and heartened by this highly visible action for the rights of all people living with HIV, especially q***r migrants, when there’s so much fear and disinformation out there. Our communities are powerful when we come together.”

The Trump administration will not observe World AIDS Day in 2025, according to a State Department email viewed by The New York Times.

The department reportedly directed employees and grant recipients not to use any federal government funding on supporting the internationally recognised awareness day.

The email stated that employees and grantees to “refrain from publicly promoting World AIDS Day through any communication channels, including social media, media engagements, speeches or other public-facing messaging.”

It also said that it is still permitted to “tout the work” being done in the fight to end AIDS and other deadly diseases, but reminded recipients that is is the Trump administration’s policy “to refrain from messaging on any commemorative days, including World AIDS Day.”

Donald Trump previously marked World AIDS Day during his first term in office, but he refrained from mentioning LGBTQ+ people and the effect HIV and AIDS have had on the community in his proclamations for three years in a row.
