🌱🥕 Calling all young gardeners! 🥕🌱

Registration is now open for the Veggie Investigators 4-H Club through Michigan State University Extension!

Kids ages 8–12 will get hands-on experience learning the basics of gardening while growing fruits, vegetables, leadership skills, and confidence along the way. 🍅🌻

Participants will learn about: 🌱 Seed germination
🌿 Herbs & plant care
🐝 Pollination
🪴 Organic gardening techniques
🥕 Harvesting & food preservation
🐛 Pest & w**d management
…and so much more!

📍 Location: Roscommon Community Garden
📅 Saturdays beginning May 23, 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Space is limited to just 8 participants, so don’t wait to register!

Looking for a way to make a real difference—without a huge time commitment?

We’re looking for adult volunteers to help support local youth through 4-H programs right here in our community.

💚 You DON’T need experience

Whether it’s helping with a club, sharing a skill, or just being another positive adult in a kid’s life—you matter more than you think.

⏰ Flexible involvement (you choose what works for you)

📍 Opportunities all over Crawford County, Maple Forest TWP., Lovells TWP, Frederic TWP, Grayling TWP, Beaver Creek TWP, South Branch TWP.
